BloodstockPics News

Photos are up!

The photos,
they're up!

It's been a long hard road, and we've had to stare at a few sets of genitals in the process, but we have the photos developed, rotated, resized, (censored) and uploaded and they can now be found on the photos page!!!

So get over there and get looking! And tagging, and commenting! (register first for that)

Thank you once more to everyone involved, your support is invaluable!

Did you go to the Bloodstock Festival in 2009?

Did you find a camera lying around?

Did that camera have a set of instructions on it?

Did you take a photo on it then leave it somewhere else?
(or drop it off at the Rock Society tent)

What is all this?

This is BloodstockPics - a photography project carried out at Bloodstock 2009 - and you might have taken part in it! (whether you found a camera or not!).

You can check out what happened on our mission page.

If you saw a camera, and remember it, all the cameras at the festival were numbered. So you can head straight over to the gallery and find your camera, find the photo you took, and see what other people took with that camera.

If you didn't see a camera, a camera still might have seen you, and either way - some of the photos are hilarious, so get over to the gallery and have a good look through and see the festival through the eyes of others - a LOT of others!

If you're curious...

...why did we do this, what are we getting out of it, what drove us to try this? Visit Our Mission to find out. If you want to get involved with BloodstockPics, or you'd like to see us at your festival, then take a look at the Contact Us page. Please bear in mind that unless we can organise a biut of guest list entry, and some travel/parking aid it probably won't be feasable, as this costs us hundreds of pounds as it is!!

So we made it!

So we got to BloodstockPics, we handed out cameras, we talked to people, passed the idea about and in the end, we got 30/52 cameras back! The cameras haven't been developed yet, it's a lot to do, and the developers always have some reservations when they hear who had the cameras... but we will keep you up to date, and should have them up within a week. In the meantime register with us - and then we can e-mail you when they are up, and you'll be ready to comment/tag them when we do!

If you still have one of our cameras...

Please return it to us! Then you can have your 15 minutes of fame too! See the Contact Us page for instructions on how to get it back to us. We'll even post you an SAE to send it back in, that's how much we want these cameras back!
